I have painted the back side then epoxide a hollow tube on the back for the stake to glide into.. It will come with a Separate 16 inch Metal stake for easy shipping.
Note that the stake will eventually rust.

Handcrafted garden Birds are made out of Stoneware clay.
Once the clay is dry, the Whimsy Birds are fired in my kiln. As they're all handmade, no two are exactly alike.
