Each clock is durable and suitable for hanging in any room. They're great in kitchens, steamy bathrooms, and lanais, as long as it is covered by a roof!

The finish on each piece is a base coat of acrylic paint with ceramic stains and textured acrylic paint detailing. I prefer using acrylic paints over traditional ceramic glazes because they afford me a much wider range of color which adds to the whimsy of my work.
Once you turn off the lights enjoy the glow in the dark highlights.

The clock is assembled with a new quartz clock movement.
The clock takes one "AA" battery (not included).
