Sea life is very mysterious and fascinating to me. Octopi are critters I just can't get enough of, with their dancing legs and the way they live in caves and hoard all kinds of random treasures they find under the sea. Fascinating!
The finish on each piece is a base coat of acrylic paint with ceramic stains and textured acrylic paint detailing. I prefer using acrylic paints over traditional ceramic glazes because they afford me a much wider range of color which adds to the whimsy of my work.
This octopus has a hole drilled into the backside for easy hanging.
I have been working with clay for over 20 years. You will receive a quality ceramic art piece.

Got this for a friend and it was amazing! I loved it and did she! Great color and had good weight to it so definitely not flimsy.

I broke my original one and she was able to make a replacement for me . This hangs above the toilet as my whimsical item for all to notice. Absolutely love and the excellent services the artist provides
