The finish on each piece is a base coat of acrylic paint with ceramic stains and textured acrylic paint detailing. I prefer using acrylic paints over traditional ceramic glazes because they afford me a much wider range of color which adds to the whimsy of my work.
I have been working with clay for over 20 years. You will receive a quality ceramic art piece.

I couldn't believe that I found a three switch plate. Not let alone whimsical fish but "Pond Scum". I own many of her works of art. Each one "sweet". Shipping was awesome. Thanks Stephanie
