Underneath the base of the feeder I made a interior lip to hold the peanuts or seeds or corn.

Holds approx. a half a cup of bird seed depending on what you fill it with.

Each piece is lovingly hand formed, as well as each piece is a base coat of acrylic paint with ceramic stains and textured acrylic paint detailing.

Hang with fishing line or a thin cable.

It is finished with a clear gloss Spar Urethane that contains an UV protectant against natures toughest conditions. This will reduce the graying and fading effects of the sun.

I strive to create pieces that are representative of the images above, please understand that each feeder is handmade and will contain small variations in form, size, and color.

Each one is unique and is weather safe.

Handcrafted garden Feeders are made out of Stoneware clay.
Once the clay is dry, the Whimsy Birds are fired in my kiln. As they're all handmade, no two are exactly alike. Imperfections are part of the charm!
